The ReportCaster HTML User Interface allows you to manage your schedules and perform maintenance tasks. From this interface you can view the status of a schedule, purge the log report, create a Distribution List and a Library Access List, edit or delete a schedule, and view schedule blackout dates.

Note: Managed Reporting Developers and Administrators can also be configured to access the HTML User Interface. For more information, see Accessing ReportCaster and Enabling User Capabilities in the ReportCaster Development and Administration manual.

You can access the ReportCaster HTML User Interface from:

• The Managed Reporting environment by clicking the clock icon on the toolbar.
• The Business Intelligence Dashboard by selecting ReportCaster from the Tools option in the banner. You can also add the interface to a Dashboard Content page.
• A separate browser window. Type the following URL:

  http://hostname[:port]/rc_context_root/enduser/rclogon.htm 

  where:

  hostname[:port]

  Is the host name and optional port number (specified only if you are not using the default port number) of the Application Server where the ReportCaster Web application is deployed.

  rc_context_root

  Is the site customized context root for the ReportCaster Web application deployed on your Application Server. The default is rcaster value.

The ReportCaster HTML User Interface opens, displaying all schedules that you have created using the Scheduling Wizard. The following image shows the options and data fields available when first accessing the ReportCaster HTML User Interface.

• Create and maintain a Distribution List that you can then assign to scheduled reports. For more information, see Creating and Maintaining a Distribution List.
• Create and maintain a Library Access List that you can then assign to scheduled reports that are distributed to the Report Library. For more information about Access Lists and viewing content in the Report Library, see Report Library.
• Edit, clone, or delete schedules that you have created using the Scheduling Wizard. You can also run a log report to obtain information about a schedule, and purge the log file to conserve space. For more information, see Maintaining a Schedule.
• View the dates on which schedules cannot run or be set to run. For more information, see Schedule Blackout Dates.
• Check the status of a scheduled job. For more information, see Checking the Status of a Scheduled Job.
• Create, update, and delete an Execution ID. For more information, see Creating, Updating, and Deleting an Execution ID.
• Open the online Help.
