Procedure: How to Enable and Access the Sun Java Console
  1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Java (Sun), check Use Java 2 v1.4.2_06 for <applet> (requires restart).
  4. Click OK.
  5. From the Tools menu, select Sun Java Console. The Sun Java Console opens.

Procedure: How to Enable and Access the Microsoft Java Console

From the ReportCaster Analytical User Interface, you can enable and access the Java Console as follows:

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Microsoft VM, check the following options:
    • Java console enabled (requires restart).
    • Java logging enabled.
  4. Click OK.
  5. From the View menu, select Java Console. The Java Console opens.
