Accessing the Graph Assistant

You may access the Graph Assistant from Developer Studio and the Managed Reporting environments.

Procedure: How to Access the Graph Assistant
  1. In Developer Studio:
    • From the Projects area, right-click the Procedures folder within the Project in which you would like to create your graph and select New and then Procedure.
    • From the Data Servers area, right-click the application in the Applications folder of the server of your choice, and select New and then Procedure.
    • From the Managed Reporting area, open the Domains and choose a domain, then choose Standard Reports, and right-click the Standard Reports folder in which you would like to create your graph. Select New and then Procedure.
  2. Enter a file name for the new procedure in the Add Procedure dialog box.
  3. For the Projects area, select Graph Assistant from the Create With drop-down list and click Open.

    For the Data Servers and Managed Reporting Standard Reports area, select the Procedure Viewer option from the Create With drop-down list. From the Procedure Viewer, click the Graph icon in the toolbar (or click the diamond connector and select Graph from the menu).

  4. Select the data source for your graph and click OK. The Graph Assistant opens.
